We've received a lot of great questions and are continuing to fluff out the answers, if there's something we've missed please feel free to send us a message!
Bump refers to discarding a card from a Player's Nest.
Yes! For instance, if a Player places either a Red color Character or Evidence in your Nest, all other Red color Characters or Evidence placed into your Nest will be added to this Red Stack. Note that an Evidence placed in a Stack with a Character will not have its Ability triggered. All Characters in a Stack must be bumped to have the Stack's Incrimination count against the Player.
Yes, pinned Evidence cards can be targeted. i.e. Prevalent Peep or Dishonorable Discharge may be used to knock an Evidence out from under a Character. Useful for when a Flock King is placed in a Stack and you really need to get rid of that 5.
Orville interrupts all the things! In this case, you will have to wait until your next turn to draw up to your Handsize. Because Orville interrupts immediately, when a card makes you draw more cards, note whether the card drawn is an Orville before drawing the next card- because he’ll stop the process due to his suspicion glare. So, although increased draw power is generally super good, it has this risk.
No. When a Character is Bumped, the pinned Cards remain in the Nest and all of that Incrimination gets stuck back on the Player! What's messed up, is that someone could theoretically place an Evidence in someone's Nest who already has a Character so that the Ability on the Evidence doesn't trigger - and THEN they could use a card like Bird Song to remove that Character from the Stack, thereby increasing their Incrimination without letting them use the Evidence's Ability.
The Nest comes into existence whenever a Player chooses to place an Evidence or Character on another Player. So, in the beginning of the game, as Players incriminate each other, they'll actually be building each other's Nest. On your turn you have to place an Evidence if you have one, so that sort of encourages the Nests to start populating. The card is placed on the table, in the area immediately in front of the targeted Player. Evidence and Characters placed into a Nest which are of matching Color are placed into same Stack. In the base game, there will be a maximum of 5 unique Stacks in any given Nest.
